It's unfortunate, but sometimes films just seem to disappear off the face of the earth.
Get a Job is one of those films. It was shot over four years ago but somehow managed to fall into distribution limbo until now which is a shame considering the great cast involved. A pre Whiplash, Miles Teller is in the lead role with support coming from Anna Kendrick, Brian Cranston, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Marcia Gay Harden and Alison Brie.
The rom-com focuses on a fresh faced Teller and his group of recent college graduate friends as they navigate trials and tribulations of seeking employment after college. After finding his calling following being fired from his entry level position, he also has to deal with the fallout of both his girlfriend, Jillian (Kendrick) and father, Roger (Cranston) being on the hunt for new jobs.
There's no Irish release date as of yet but should it do well in the States it's sure to make it over here before too long.
