The Steve Jobs biopic was a long time in development and has had quite a messy road to the big screen.
Initially David Fincher was scheduled to direct the Aaron Sorkin scripted biopic, while Christian Bale was being pursued to play Jobs for Sony Pictures, but that all changed. Oscar winning British helmer Danny Boyle took the film on to direct, Michael Fassbender replaced Bale and Universal Pictures bought the film, taking a prime awards season slot by scheduling a release in October.
It's a strong promo, showing supporting players Seth Rogen and Kate Winslet, while giving us a good look at Fassbender's Jobs.
Looking forward to this, and seeing the Irishman's performance.
