Before he was Aslan, Michael Collins, Qui-Gon Jinn, or the Dad who killed all those Albanians, Liam Neeson was Oscar Schindler, who set himself the impossible task of rescuing Jews at the height of World War II.
For Operation Chromite, the Irish thespian is returning to the war genre, in a flick that is this time less drama-orientated and more geared towards action.
The film is based on the true story of soldiers who sacrificed themselves during the Korean War.
Neeson plays General Douglas MacArthur, who leads the attack against North Koreans in the Battle of Incheon.

The film is apparently ‘poised to be the largest Korean summer blockbuster this year’, but there’s been no word yet on whether there will be an Irish release.
