If Keanu Reeves ever decides to jack in the whole acting business, he's definitely got a career ahead of him as a hype-man for indie films.

The Bad Batch is a new film from Ana Lily Amirpour, who directed 2014's indie hit A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, that has a cast which includes Jim Carrey, Jason Momoa, Keanu Reeves (obviously), Suki Waterhouse, Rogue One's Diego Luna. To say the film is a tough sell, however, is an understatement.

In a nutshell, the film is set in a dystopian world where cannibals are living in a community in Texas and features Suki Waterhouse covering herself in human faeces to try and escape them, whilst Keanu Reeves plays a leader of a makeshift town called Comfort. It's... weird, to say the least.

Yet, hearing Keanu Reeves talk about the film before a screening of it recently at the IFC Center in New York, it actually sort of has us excited to see if it lives up to the hype. That said, reviews have been quite mixed - so maybe Keanu Reeves' enthusiasm is just Keanu Reeves being sound.

Either way, we're interested. Here's his sales pitch.
