We'll freely admit - we were more than a little sceptical when he first heard that Guy Ritchie was directing a remake of 60's TV spy series The Man From UNCLE.
What was he gonna do, set it in Cockney London? As it turns out, we were wrong. Way wrong.
For those that weren't alive in the 60's and have no clue what The Man From UNCLE is, here's a quick refresher.
Two agents, one from the CIA and the other from the KGB, have to put aside their ideological differences and work together to fight international threats from, well, just about anyone.
The film has it that it's ex-Nazis trying to make an atomic bomb to destabilise the world governments, but we're guessing there'll be more to it than that.
Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer star as Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin respectively, whilst Ex Machina's Alicia Vikander, Jared Harris and Hugh Grant (!) fill out the supporting cast.
It looks like a total romp, meshing Ocean's Eleven-esque cool with spies. Really, what's not to like here?
