Are you listening carefully Jack Reynor?

The sweet, sweet sound of all those Star Wars' cheques rolling into Harrison Ford's bank account clearly made an impact as he's on the press trail once again as The Force Awakens rolls well past the $2 billion mark and preps for DVD release next month.

Ford made a surprise appearance on Ellen today and, when asked what it was like to be replaced with a younger model and if he had any advice for the upstart who'd be representing the character onscreen, he didn't mince his words.

"Don’t do it," Ford said. "First it seems like everything's going swimmingly, and you put in 25, 30 years, and then they just let you go. And they show you the door and say, 'We're done with you, thanks very much.'"

With rumours abounding that Alden Ehrenreich, Taron Egerton, Jack Reynor, and Emory Cohen are all up for the role, we hope they're paying attention.
