One thing you have to give credit to Netflix for is the variety of original films its producing.

They could easily keep popping out Adam Sandler comedies until the inevitable backlash but instead are looking to cater to a variety of comedic tastes.

Christopher Guest's latest effort being case and point. Mascots sees our own Chris O'Dowd join a whole host of Guest's regular collaborators in a story about sports mascots attempts to compete for the Golden Fluffy award.

So overall the film stars (deep breath now) Chris O'Dowd, Jane Lynch, Parker Posey, Fred Willard, Ed Begley Jr., Michael Hitchcock, Jennifer Coolidge (Stifler's Mom), Bob Balaban, Jim Piddock and Love & Friendship's breakout star, Tom Bennett.

Mascots will be available to stream on October 13th.
