Channing Tatum is now one of the biggest young stars working in Hollywood. But around the time of Step Up, he was an actor just looking for a break that would continue his ascent to stardom.

He was on Jimmy Kimmel last night promoting the new Coen Brothers flick, 'Hail, Caesar!' and told Jimmy about the worst audition he ever had.

Apparently Tatum went in to read for little seen Fast and Furious sequel, Toyko Drift - that's the third one to you and me. Turned out to be the worst audition of his life and the role ultimately went to Lucas Black.

You could actually see Tatum in the franchise. Black has a similar Southern vibe to him.
