Prepare to see Robert Pattinson like you've never seen him before.
Billed as "a hypnotic crime thriller that explores with bracing immediacy the tragic sway of family and fate", Pattinson plays a bank robber how can't seem to outrun trouble as he tries to get his bank robbing brother out of prison before something happens to him.
We know that sounds like pretty vague and uninteresting but when you apply the Safdie brothers' lens to it as in the trailer below, it becomes a whole lot more captivating.
Here's the official synopsis:
After a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Constantine Nikas (Robert Pattinson) embarks on a twisted odyssey through the city’s underworld in an increasingly desperate—and dangerous—attempt to get his brother out of jail. Over the course of one adrenalized night, Constantine finds himself on a mad descent into violence and mayhem as he races against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing their lives hang in the balance.
'Good Time' is set for release in the US this August with an Irish release date to be announced.
