We've all been to at least one wedding where the Best Man has taken his speech just a tad too far and left everyone feeling a little bit awkward. Sometimes it's painful, sometimes it's awful and sometimes, it's just plain brutal. Not when you're Stephen Merchant though. Then it's just plain funny!

He's starring as Best Man Danny in upcoming RomCom I Give It A Year and we've got sneak peek at his wedding speech. Some of the finer gags include "Nat's got it all, she's brilliantly clever, apparently really delivers in the bedroom, like mother like daughter!" Rose Byrne stars as the quite literally blushing bride while Rafe Spall is her horrified groom.

There's an all star cast for Borat and Bruno writer Dan Mazer's directorial debut. Byrne, Spall and Merchant are joined by Anna Farris, Minnie Driver, Simon Baker and Jason Flemyng.

I Give It A Year hits Irish cinemas on February 8th.
