WATCH: Interview with Sam Rockwell and Martin McDonagh for Seven Psychopaths
Last week I was once again the envy of all movie fans when I got to sit down with acting legend Sam Rockwell - who just a few months ago was hanging out my Dad in Dingle, who he actually remembered having met and said I resembled (my Dad wears glasses and has no hair, but whatevs, I'll take that) - and one of Ireland's most celebrated playwrights and filmmakers, the awesome Martin McDonagh. Ahead of the release of Seven Psychopaths - McDonagh's follow up to In Bruge which also starred Colin Farrell - I caught up with himself and Sam to talk about the movie's violence, how delighted I was that they didn't kill the scene stealing Shih Tzu, and about the possibility of the tree joining forces for Irish stage production. They were quite keen on that idea. Here's hoping!
Seven Psychopaths hits Irish cinemas tomorrow, don't miss it! It's a good'un.
