Let's qualify that a little bit before people start freaking out about Vincent Browne: The Movie.

We all know he's capable of doing unbroken monlogues and he's a bit of an action star with his breathtaking performance in the Battle of Gorse Hill, but now Vincent Browne might be on his way to Tinseltown.

Vinny B has landed himself a cameo role in Jim Sheridan's upcoming adaptation of The Secret Scripture. Starring alongside Rooney Mara and Nidgey himself, Tom Vaughn-Lawlor, the journalist / broadcaster will play a psychiatrist who's treating one of the characters in the film.

It's not known if Browne has any lines, but it is confirmed that he'll have an on-screen role as one of the men in white coats.

The Secret Scripture is expected in Irish cinemas towards the end of next year.

So, we're asking this - in the eventual biopic of Vincent Browne, who would play the man himself? We think Al Pacino could do it, provided he's get the hair and exasperated look right.

Who do you think could work? Let us know in the comments!
