I am Jack's open disgust.

Look, Fight Club might have been a fantastic film - in 1999. Unfortunately, much like Brad Pitt's long-hair look, it hasn't aged particularly well. In fact, if you go back and look at it now, it really doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Sure, the Dust Brothers' soundtrack was pretty great and there were some funny moments here and there, but honestly? No. Doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Anyway, we're guessing David Fincher's looking for an easy payday because he's talking to Broadway musical veteran Julie Taymor - who worked on that Spider-Man musical with U2 - about adapting Fight Club for a musical.

I am Jack's sullen resignation.

Chuck Palahnuik tweeted about it while he was at San Diego Comic-Con and then quickly deleted because we're guessing he realised it was a terrible, terrible idea.

This time around, it looks like Trent Reznor will be handling the music, so that could be... interesting?

What do you think? Would you go see a Fight Club musical? Let us know in the comments!
