Here we go again.

Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man aka Peter Parker in the new Marvel outings for the web-slinging superhero, has revealed that two more films after this summer’s Spider-Man: Homecoming are in the works.

"There is still a lot of room for Peter Parker, and Spider-Man especially, to grow in the next two movies," he told Allocine.

"He's definitely not the finished article by the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, and I really look forward to exploring the different ways he can grow up and go through puberty, I guess. It's going to be an exciting couple of movies.

"Yeah, there'll be Spider-Man 2 and 3, [although] it won't be Homecoming 2 and 3."

Previously, a sequel had been confirmed for Homecoming with a set release date of July 5th 2019.

Producer Amy Pascal has said that Holland's Spider-Man would only remain part of the MCU for the first two films, so the third movie could see the character move away from Iron Man and the Avengers.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released in Ireland on July 7th.
