In more Oscar news today, we're delighted with the news that Mark Wahlberg and his furry sidekick Ted will be on hand to present an award at this month's Oscars. Handy that, given that the man behind Ted is the host too! (Seth MacFarlane, if you've missed all of our Oscar posts thus far.)

Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron made the following statement earlier today: "We are happy to make it possible for Mark and Ted to make their debut appearance on the Oscar stage... And we won't deny that Ted used his pull with our host to get himself the booking."

Meanwhile our favourite teddy bear expressed his own excitement: "I'm excited to present an Oscar with Mark Wahlberg... I'm spending the next month learning to pronounce 'Quvenzhané.'"

Also on the subject of the Oscars, if you've got Sky Movies at home you can watch the whole shebang as it unfolds, rather than wait 'til the following day. Then again, some of us have better things to be doing than staying awake through the night to ogle at celebrities. Like sleeping.

With their own exclusive channel, Sky Movies presenter Alex Zane will front a panel of celebrity guests and film experts, all there to throw in their two cents on the night's events. They'll also bring you live red carpet coverage from LA.
