On the back of the surprising news that Deadpool director, Tim Miller, has walked away from the sequel following 'creative differences' with star Ryan Reynolds, a whole host of successors have been suggested by fans but there's only one who's the subject of a petition - Quentin Tarantino.

The petition, which was launched over the weekend already has over 11,000 signatures and puts forward a pretty good argument as to why Tarantino directing Deadpool would be a good idea. Tarantino is excellent at writing witty dialogue and shooting stylish visuals, Ryan Reynolds is excellent at delivering dialogue and being the subject of stylish visuals. It's match made in heaven.

Of course, it's highly unlikely for a number of reasons, the main one being that Tarantino is one of the few directors left in Hollywood who retains full creative control over his work. Something he'd probably have to surrender to make a superhero movie. Let's face it, Tarantino would never be prepared to do that.

Add to that the fact that Tarantino generally likes to take his time with his projects while Deadpool has a strict January 2018 release date to meet. A fan still dream though right?
