This trailer is awful. Just awful.
Whatever about what you thought about The Da Vinci Code or Angels and Demons (and it may not have been much) director Ron Howard is a capable enough helmer to squeeze the best moments he could from the source material. But Howard has had a couple of costly flops - Rush and In The Heart of the Sea - so needed some guaranteed ka-ching. And here we are.
The trailer gives away everything and it looks more like a cheap tv movie than a Hollywood blockbuster. Shocking when you look at the talent involved.
Felicity Jones stars alongside Tom Hanks, while the script was written by David Koepp from Dan Brown's bestseller.
It will hit cinemas around Halloween.
