Entertainment Weekly is reporting that David Leitch will take the chair for the upcoming 'Fast' spin-off starring Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw and Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs.
Chris Morgan, who has written the previous six ‘Fast’ movies, will pen the script.
Leitch, who is a former stuntman, directed the upcoming and much hyped Deadpool 2 (Check out the latest trailer starring Cable here). He was also in the chair for Atomic Blonde and co-directed the first John Wick installment with Chad Stahelski.
The Fast and Furious spin-off is due to hit cinemas in July, 2019.
