It's hard to believe that it's been a full twenty years since the most important film of our generation, Spice World, was first shown to unsuspecting audiences and changed the course of history as we know it.

To celebrate the cinematic masterpiece that is Spice World in all its glory, Lighthouse Cinema are hosting not one - but TWO - screenings of the film next Saturday on September 9th, to coincide with the film's twentieth anniversary.

You'll get to see all the cameos - Elton John, Elvis Costello, Bob Hoskins, Hugh Laurie, Jonathan Ross, a young McNulty / Dominic West as a photographer, Richard E. Grant's facial hair, and Roger Moore looking slightly confused.

It's all in there, and the best part is that fancy dress is "optional but highly recommended." Good luck getting a ticket, however, as both screenings of the film are now officially sold out.

In the meantime, here's the trailer.
