'The Farthest', which was one of our highest-rated reviews of 2017, won the Emmy last night for Outstanding Science & Technology Documentary in New York.

The documentary, which was directed by Emer Reynolds and produced by RTE, ZDF, Arte and Screen Ireland, was awarded the Emmy against stiff competition. Following the construction and voyage of the NASA Voyager, 'The Farthest' follows the incredible journey of the technology and the people behind it, with a beautiful message of optimism and enthusiasm to boot.

Speaking at the ceremony, producer John Murray said that it was "such a privilege," and thanked PBS who broadcast the movie to American audiences. Here's the acceptance speech from the night, with Emer Reynolds holding the gong to the far right.

'The Farthest' is currently on home release in all good DVD retailers and available on iTunes.
