Ted Breaks Box-Office Records

Ted is a huge box-office smash, after becoming the biggest comedy debut at the US box-office since the first Hangover movie.

The Seth MacFarlane directed comedy took a staggering $54.1 million in its opening three days, breaking the record for an 'R' rated comedy set by The Hangover - which in turn pushed Wedding Crashers into third spot. Also opening very strong was the Channing Tatum/Matthew McConaughey stripper movie, Magic Mike which took an impressive $39 million off of a budget reportedly not even $10 million.

Ted is also Mark Wahlberg's biggest opening since the god awful Planet of the Apes remake. It opens in Ireland on August 1st, and is very very funny.

  Its embargoed until week of release so i cant actually publish my review yet I did really enjoy it though
