Taylor Lautner To Play Sexy Bike Messenger... And Stuff

Twilight star Taylor Lautner is set to star in the action-thriller Tracers, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor was due to star in a barrage of projects for a reported fee of $10 million, then his first non-Twilight starring role, Abduction, bombed at the box-office and we heard nothing except rumours of a role in a Gus Van Sant flick - which were denied by the director. The world's most ridiculous plot synopsis follows: Lautner is to play a "bicycle messenger who is debt to an organized crime gang. When he crashes his bike into a sexy stranger, he's immediately seduced by her and the thrill of the world of parkour (freerunning)."

Daniel Benmayor is directing the flick.
