Considering Harvey Weinstein is now the subject of a number of police investigations, Bob Weinstein himself has been accused of sexual misconduct, and every television studio and streaming service cutting ties with them, it really does look like the Weinstein Company's days are numbered.

On top of all this, a promised cash infusion by Colony Capital has been pulled and, as of today, TWC now no longer has any films set for release in 2017. The two films still left on their slate - possible Oscar contender The Current War, and schlocky horror Polaroid - have both been pulled from their respective release dates and been pushed into 2018.

Insider sources speaking to THR said that it would have been "impossible" to release both films next month considering the current circumstances its founder finds himself in. Harvey Weinstein has since been fired from TWC, whilst Bob Weinstein has repeatedly denied that the company is facing bankruptcy or that the company is due to be sold off.

TWC has made no official comments about its fate or the current status of its future projects.
