Sylvester Stallone And Robert De Niro Put On The Gloves For A Grudge Match

Sylvester Stallone is putting on the boxing gloves again, but not for a Rocky film; instead The Expendables star will team with Robert De Niro for the flick, Grudge Match.

According to The Wrap, the tone will be comedic as one of Adam Sandler's regular cohorts Peter Segal is calling the shots. Film will centre on "two retired boxers who return to the ring for a final grudge match." Both actors are a smidge busy right now so a lot will depend on their schedules; but this has hit written all over it. Segal has previously directed an A-list Hollywood legend in Anger Management (Jack Nicholson), which was a huge hit and had a similarly broad plot synopsis.

Could be a lot of fun, but will probably be more middle of the road.
