Although Sony claims they're still moving ahead with its December 22nd release in the US, All The Money In The World has been officially pulled from the AFI Fest next month.

In a statement released late last night, Sony Pictures said that "given the current allegations surrounding one of its actors and out of respect for those impacted, it would be inappropriate to celebrate at a gala at this difficult time." Neither Ridley Scott, Mark Wahlberg, Carey Mulligan or any of the stars from the film have made no public comments about Spacey's allegations.

Previously, rumours had abounded that Sony was toying with pushing All The Money In The World back into 2018, however the statement said that the December 22nd is still being adhered to. As we previously reported, Sony quietly dumped its Oscar campaign for All The Money In The World, with Sony allegedly positioning Spacey for a Best Supporting Actor gong.

All The Money In The World, however, will be far more interesting as it's now likely to be the last major release that Kevin Spacey will work on. Considering that Netflix have severed ties with him, fired him from House Of Cards and dumped his Gore Vidal biopic, nobody's going to be lining up to work with him any time soon.
