The Fourth Phase follows the journey of snowboarder Travis Rice as he travels across the North Pacific, uncovering new terrain and capturing this undiscovered landscape on camera. The film is produced by Red Bull Media House.
It's been in production since 2013, using drones and HD and 4k cameras to bring the scenery of Alaska, the Japanese Alps and Russian volcanoes to life on screen. While it's about snowboarders, nature is the real focus of the project.
Commenting on the film, Rice said "Creating 'The Fourth Phase' brought an incredible group of snowboarders together with the hardest working, most committed production crew in the game, to witness first-hand the many moods of the North Pacific storm engine. The journey was created under the premise that to know something and to truly understand something - you have to become it."
The Fourth Phase will premiere on Sunday on Redbull TV at 9.00pm, and will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray and download from October 3rd.
