Although most true Star Wars fans have each film on DVD / Blu-Ray / Laserdisc / an original workprint where Darth Vader was voiced by David Prowse, they can still sit down and enjoy the series on TV.

Sky Movies, on May 4th, will screen each and every Star Wars movie in chronological order, beginning with 1999's The Phantom Menace and rolling all the way up to 1983's Return of the Jedi.

Personally, we think they should drop the original trilogy and just show The Empire Strikes Back on repeat because it's the best of the entire trilogy.

Think about it - A New Hope was, well, a bit hammy. Return of the Jedi had ewoks. The Phantom Menace, we like to imagine it didn't happen - although it did give us Darth Maul. Attack of the Clones was pretty dull, but had a few good moments and Revenge of the Sith was, well, the best of a bad lot.

So, logically and correctly, The Empire Strikes Back was the best because it had the best elements of the series - namely Darth Vader marauding across the galaxy and being a total badass.

Sky, if you're reading this, it's worth doing.
