Steven Spielberg's next project, Ready Player One is assembling quite a good cast.
Fresh of his comic relief role in Deadpool, Silicon Valley's TJ Miller has signed on to appear in the film alongside Ty Sheridan and Olivia Cooke. Continuing the fruitful working relationship they formed on Bridge of Spies and The BFG, Mark Rylance will also be appearing in the film.
The story is set in a virtual world called Oasis, in which a teenager (Sheridan) finds himself competing in a treasure hunt against ruthless foes after the reclusive and enigmatic founder (Rylance) of the game dies and offers his fortune as the grand prize. Miller will play i-R0k, an annoying troller in the online forums of the game.
Simon Pegg and Ben Mendelsohn are also in the film which is set to begin filming this month.
