Santa Dash In Aid Of Paul Newman's Charity
07 December 2009
The late, great legend that is Paul Newman started the Irish charity Barretstown, and the excellent Irish website Irishfit.eu are organising a charity fun run in aid of the extremely worthy children's charity, on Sunday 13th December.
The event takes place around Barretstown Castle, Blessington, where there will be a Santa Medal for all finishers, as well as various spot prizes and vouchers. There will also be age group prizes.
Also expect wine, coffee and some food after the race at the Award Ceremony in Barretstown, when you can reap in the glory of your achievement. It's open to all ages, and there are two distances 5k or 10k. Each participant gets a Santa costume to run around in, and can even keep it afterwards.
People can enter in a heap of different ways, online at www.SantaDash.ie or by contacting the Irish Fit office either through sales@IrishFit.eu or by telephone on 01 2846107 / 087 2268911. Alternatively, you can post a cheque made out to IrishFit Ltd to: IrishFit, 91 Upper Georges St, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. Entry fee is 25 quid. Do some good and get some exercise in people!
