Just in this morning, Skyfall director Sam Mendes is now allegedly in line to helm the next Bond flick. Good news? We think so. He did a stellar job with his first interpretation of Ian Fleming's secret agent. So successful was his first shot at it, both financially and critically, he's hungry for more. According to the Daily Mail, he was initially put off by the idea when he heard that writer John Logan had planned to write the next film in two parts as that would demand too much of his time (we're not keen on the idea of a split film; don't be greedy now Logan). Now that it'll remain as a standalone film, he's extremely close to closing the deal. Well, 75% to be exact, whatever the hell that means. What does the last 25% depend on?

Will Mendes second film in this franchise manage to top what has become the tenth highest grossing film of all time? Has Daniel Craig still got it? *Spoler Alert* How do you feel about seeing Naomie Harris return as 'M' without Dame Judi Dench? Share your thoughts/hopes on the next Bond film below.
