Throughout Harrison Ford's career, he's often put his body on the line for the pursuit of realism.

Throughout most of Indiana Jones, Ford did a number of his own stunts and took a few bumps, cuts and bruises along the way. Even in Kingdom of The Crystal Skull, at almost 66 years of age, Ford was still throwing himself into stunt-work with the vitality of a man half his age.

Now, at 74, Ford is still at it. In a recent interview with GQ, Ford's co-star in the upcoming Blade Runner sequel, Ryan Gosling, talked about his use of realism. In other words, Gosling got punched in the jaw by Han Solo.

"It was kind of, you know, a rite of passage. We were just doing a fight scene and, you know, it just happened. But what was funny was, when it was over, they brought ice for my face, and Harrison pushed me out of the way and stuck his fist in the ice."

Amazing.

Thankfully, there were no hard feelings between them and Ford even offered a drink to Gosling after the punch. "As soon as it happened, the director came up to me and said, ‘Look at it this way - you just got hit by Indiana Jones.' He came by afterward with this bottle of scotch, and I thought, ‘Oh, I knew this was coming.’ And he pulled out a glass from his pocket, poured me a glass, and walked away with the rest of the bottle. So I guess he felt like he didn’t connect enough to earn a whole bottle."

Previous reports indicated that Ford was a smooth bastard, but this puts it over the line for us once and for all. Who punches a guy in the face, puts his fist in ice and then buys said person a drink after? Nobody, that's who. Nobody expect Harrison F*cking Ford.

We added the middle name, but it fits.
