Rihanna To Make Acting Debut With Blockbuster Battleship

Director Peter Berg has just added another name to the cast of Battleship, the board game adaptation he's directing with Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard in the lead roles and it's a familiar one.
Singer Rihanna will make her feature film debut in the big-budgeted action flick, with an as yet unspecified role in proceedings. The film itself will centre on an alien invasion of earth, which forces the world to unite to open up some cans of whoop-ass on the alien assclowns. True Blood star Skarsgard, and Friday Night Lights regular Kitsch will play naval brothers, who are on board one of the ships tasked with saving earth.
I really like Berg as a helmer, he's very much from the visceral Michael Mann school of filmmaking. No idea if Rihanna can act, but she'll probably look good in a naval outfit anyway.
