Reservoir Dogs director Quentin Tarantino releases his slavery drama Django Unchained next year but he's hinted that it might not be long before he hangs up the hat.

"I just don't want to be an old-man filmmaker," Tarantino told Playboy. "I want to stop at a certain point. Directors don't get better as they get older. Usually the worst films in their filmography are those last four at the end. I am all about my filmography, and one bad film f**ks up three good ones. But if I stop at ten, that would be okay as an artistic statement."

Django is film number 8 so if he sticks to his guns, who knows how many more movies Tarantino will make?
