Piven Shooting Waska In Canada
30 November 2009
One of my favourite actors, Mr. Jeremy Piven, has started shooting his latest project, indie film Waska. According to Variety, the production is based on a novel by Leslie Schwartz, and centres on the disappearance of a small child in the middle of a snowstorm.
Piven has been posting updates on the production through his Twitter and Facebook pages during shooting in Calgary in Canada, but little has been known about what exactly he has been shooting until now. When I asked him about what he'd be doing when he finished promoting The Goods a few weeks ago, he said he was "just gonna check out some scripts" and take his time. Either he lied to me, or this one came up very sharpish. I'm really hoping it's the latter, as I don't want my man crush on Ari Gold to be ruined.
Oscar winner Mira Sorvino and star of Private Practice, Kate Walsh are co-starring; while On A Clear Day helmer Gaby Dellal is calling the shots.
