Three new pictures from the film remake of Stephen King’s It have been released by Warner Bros.

One shows the new Pennywise the clown played by Bill Skarsgård, albeit partially obscured, while the others show the teen cast of the eagerly-anticipated film.

This movie focuses on the kids while the next film will feature their grown-up selves coming to grips with the past as their old enemy resurfaces.

King’s book was previously adapted for a TV miniseries in 1990 which starred Tim Curry as Pennywise.

The trailer was recently shown at the SXSW Film Festival and reportedly left audience members screaming. It is believed that the trailer will FINALLY be unveiled in the next 24 hours (Muschietti has been teasing some kind of countdown on his Instagram which is now down to 1) and the film hits cinemas on September 8th.
