By now, you'll have seen the FINAL trailer for The Force Awakens and, like us, you have a million and one questions.

What's up with the lack of Luke Skywalker? Why does Rey, Daisy Ridley's character, feature so prominently? What's up with that burnt Darth Vader mask? Where does Poe Dameron, Oscar Isaac's character, get that flawless hairdo from and how can we replicate it?

Although we can't answer every question, we feel we can speculate and make an educated guess on a good few of them. We've broken down the trailer into several key images which, if nothing else, make for pretty cool backgrounds and wallpapers for your phone or laptop.

Take a look!

Opening shot from the trailer. That's Daisy Ridley's character, Rey. We know she's some sort of scavenger on the desert planet, Jakku.

Here's Rey / Daisy Ridley scavenging for parts. Most likely that's inside the crashed Star Destroyer we saw in the previous trailer that the Millennium Falcon flew through.

Another shot of Daisy Ridley, this time without the mask and she's fixing something. We hear dialogue of her saying she's "no-one". Lost teenager, living in a crappy desert planet, no hope of getting off the planet. Remind you of anyone?

First up-close shot of the new Stormtrooper outfit. That's John Boyega's character, Finn.

Another shot of that Triumph of the Will scene we've seen. Very, very heavy on the Nazi imagery.

The new TIE Fighter, this one crashing towards Jakku with John Boyega inside. We've seen previous images of a crash-landed TIE Fighter and John Boyega getting out of the wreckage. This is obviously how he and Daisy Ridley come together, but how does Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon get there?

John Boyega escapes the crash-landed TIE Fighter and makes his way towards civilisation. Very cool shot, that.

First time we hear Kylo Ren's voice, played by Adam Driver. Does that look like a giant beam hitting a planet to you? It does to us, anyway.

Detailed look at Kylo Ren's helmet  / mask. The fact that it's all battered and chipped tells us that A) the character's older / more of a scrapper than others and B) he has no respect for property. Can't even maintain a mask? Honestly.

There's that burnt Darth Vader mask. When last we saw Darth Vader, his armour was being burnt by Luke Skywalker at the end of Return of the Jedi.  We hear Kylo Ren talking about finishing "what you started" - which is, we're guessing, the extermination of the Jedi. If that rumour about Kylo Ren's connection to the original cast turns out to be true, this would make his veneration of Darth Vader a lot more creepy.

First shot of Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron and he's being tortured by Kylo Ren. This scene looks pretty damn intense and scary; which is good because the original series definitely had its moments. Remember that with Han Solo in Cloud City and Darth Vader just beats the crap out of him for no reason whatsoever? Same kinda vibe here.

This looks like an entire planet being destroyed. Our best guess is that Starkiller Base, the moving fortress that the First Order are rampaging across the galaxy on, is able to destroy entire planets - just like the Death Star. That big red beam we saw earlier? Most likely that was it firing and this shot is it impacting on the planet's surface. We'd also hazard a guess and say that planet thing we saw on the poster is Starkiller Base.

Money shot of the Millennium Falcon flying through the wreckage of a Star Destroyer whilst being chased by TIE Fighters. Daisy Ridley talks about stories of what happened. Our guess is the original Rebel Alliance is long gone and turned into legend. It's a big galaxy, so it's likely everyone forgot what they did and what happened before.

"It's true. All of it." SQQQQQQQQQQQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Our first look at the Knights of Ren. Expect to see this scene with Taylor Swift's Bad Blood spliced up against it eventually.

"Pew-pew! Pew-pew-pew-pew! BOOOM! Pew-pew-pew!"

Look at the big rifle on John Boyega. Also, check out all the X-Wings in the background. This scene has a serious bang of the Yavin IV sequence in A New Hope when they're all getting ready to take on the Death Star.

More than likely, this planet is where they filmed exteriors of Skellig Michael. Tiny island, lots of water around it, very remote-looking and it features heavily in the trailer. We know JJ Abrams did a lot of filming on Skellig Michael so it'd make sense that they'd feature at least some of the footage used there.

That's gotta be the Massassi Temple on Yavin IV where they planned their attack on the Death Star in A New Hope. Nice little callback, that. Also what's up with that big red droid?

That mechanical hand has got to belong to Luke Skywalker. In fact, we know it was his right hand that was chopped off in The Empire Strikes Back and it's the same hand here. Yes, we knew which hand was cut off from memory.

Money-shot of Captain Phasma, played by Gwendoline Christie, striding confidently into a burning village. That armour is so on fleek.

So that's a dead body Daisy Ridley's crying over. As you'd expect, we can't really see much - even when we freeze-frame the scene. We do know that there'll be radical changes to the line-up and that, most likely, one of the main cast will die. The question is... who?

Looking behind Chewie and Han Solo, that looks like a battered-old monastery of some sort. Could it be a mock-up of Skellig Michael? Definitely.

That's got a serious bang of the Battle of Hoth off it and what's up with that long trench? Is this Starkiller Base? Is Starkiller Base a moving planet that's been fitted with a giant engine to move it around?

Princess Leia still rocking the bun-look almost thirty years on and showing no signs of changing. Also, how cute do Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher look together?

We saw this in the small Instagram trailer a month or two ago, but we haven't seen....

...the look of sheer terror on John Boyega's face when Adam Driver goes to take a swing at him. Cut to black, fade out.

So that's it. We won't see any more footage until December 18th when the film's released, bar a couple of TV spots or something. So, thoughts on the trailer? Amazing. So amazing. Everything we could have hoped for.

The hype is real, people. THE HYPE IS REAL. Did we miss anything? Got any theories of your own? Let us know in the comments!
