Anyone who's seen any of the Captain America or Avengers films will be aware that the titular captain's shield is a round-shaped one in with a distinctive red, white and blue pattern circling a star, to emulate the stars and stripes of the US flag.

However, it looks like Cap is getting a brand new shield for the new 'Avengers: Infinity War' film, if the new line of action figures from Marvel is anything to go by.

Chris Evans's character may be holding a more traditionally-shaped, metallic shield for the new film - and as several people have pointed out, it has a Wakandan feel to it (Wakanda, of course, is the home of Blank Panther and the country where he invited Captain America and his team to take shelter after the Civil War).

People are puzzled about the change, with some accusing Marvel of 'anti-American sentiment'. Surely it's only a matter of time before Trump weighs in on the matter.
