Oh wizarding world, how we've missed you.

Entertainment Weekly today brought us our first look inside J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter prequel 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' and we have to say we're very excited.

Academy Award-winner Eddie Redmayne is front and centre on the cover of next week's EW in character as the film's protagonist magizoologist Newt Scamander, a character referenced in the Harry Potter series that inspired Rowlilng to write a short encyclopedia of magical creatures for charity in 2001 that has now been adapted into a fully-fledged blockbuster.

Little is known about the plot of 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' but we do know it stars Redmayne, Colin Farrell, Ron Perlman, Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston, Gemma Chan and Don Fogler amongst others, and will follow Redmayne's Scamander as he "embarks on an adventure in 1926 New York".

According to EW, the cover shows Scamander "inside the entrance of the majestic art deco-influenced Magical Congress of the United States of America (or MACUSA), which is the American version of the Ministry of Magic" so we know that we'll be seeing the US in the roaring 20s with a healthy dose of Rowling magic thrown in for good measure.

Other than that, we'll just have to wait and see.

'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is expected in cinemas on November 18th, 2016.
