Dweebs gots to stick together, and one of our favourite couple of noughties nerds had to be Napoleon Dynamite and bestie Pedro.

Pedro, in case you don’t recall was a transfer student from Mexico who decides to run for class president in Napoleon and his high school.

Well if you didn’t want to Vote for Pedro then, you’ll certainly want to now.

The actor behind the madcap role was Efren Ramirez, who was 29 when the comedy was made. He is now 43 and has been in a wide variety of movies (including Crank, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Nacho Libre) and TV shows since.

He recently appeared at the premiere for Edge Of Seventeen, and looked like this.

Wowser. And if that doesn’t impress you, check him out here:

Next up, Ramirez is due to star in a new film from Crackle (Sony's streaming network, which also has a TV series remake of Guy Ritchie’s Snatch on the way), alongside Charlie Sheen called Mad Families. It is set for release early this year.
