Argo on you good thing! Ben Affleck's little film that could was the big winner at the 85th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles last night, heading home with no less than 3 gongs, including Best Picture, Best Editing and Best Adapted Screenplay. We're delighted.

Among the other winners on the night were Daniel Day Lewis who walked away with Best Actor (the first man in history to do so THREE times don'cha know?), Christoph Waltz (Best Supporting Actor), Anne Hathaway (Best Supporting Actress), and Jennifer Lawrence who got the nod for Best Actress for her role in Silver Lining's Playbook.

We were rather intrigued to see who'd pick up the Oscar for Best Director, what with the Academy making a boo boo by forgetting Ben Affleck. The honor went to Ang Lee for Life of Pi in the end. And sure weren't we only delighted to see Adele scoop an oul Oscar for Skyfall? That girl can do no wrong now can she?
