We don't know about you, but Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is a must-watch Christmas film in our house.

As you may recall, it saw Kevin McAllister aka Macaulay Culkin on the loose in the Big Apple around Christmas, getting up to all sorts of mischief in the city's famous Plaza Hotel and trying once again to foil the Wet Bandits/Sticky Bandits' dastardly plot.

Now, the Plaza are offering a special 'Home Alone 2' package for the film's 25th anniversary, and it sounds like a whole heap of fun - although you'll need a bundle of cash for it.

The package costs a minimum of $895 (€760) which includes your room; a meal in the restaurant that includes a "90’s inspired menu with upscale versions of childhood favorites" like spaghetti-os, funyuns and Sunny-D cocktails; a special backpack, a paintcan with special edition DVDs and an "over-the-top ice cream sundae in-room, just like Kevin had!"

The 'enhanced version' includes a 4-hour limousine ride through NYC, a 'personalised vacation photographer' to capture those magic moments, ice-skating in Central Park and an express pass to the Empire State Building.

If we were rich, we would totally do this.

It runs until October 2018, so there's still time to win the lotto.
