Yay, we love when things like this happen - upcoming Irish flick FRANK has been selected to screen at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.

The Lenny Abrahamson directed comedy starring Domhnall Gleeson, Michael Fassbender and Maggie Gyllenhaal be shown as part of the prestigious Premiere section of the festival which will take place in from the 16-26 of January.

Loosly based on the memoir by Jon Ronson and loosely inspired by cult figure Frank Sidebottom, FRANK follows a musician whose world is turned upside down when he meets Frank, an enigmatic musical genius who hides himself inside a large fake head.

Director Abrahamson (Adam and Paul, What Richard Did) said 'It's wonderful news that FRANK has been selected for Sundance. I can't think of a better place for this film to begin its life.'
