She played a woman on the run from a demonic wagon in a well in The Ring but believe it or not, Naomi Watts wasn't half as frightened then as she was when she was cast in Mullholland Drive or 21 Grams. It seems Hollywood's next Lady Di has a bit of an anxiety problem when it comes to tackling those bigger roles.

"I'm always nervous in the lead-up. The anticipation of a project, I'm always trying to pull out of it. Right up until (the last minute). Trying to get them to re-cast, I'm always calling the director and saying, 'I don't think I can do it. There's got to be someone else who is more right for this.' I know myself well enough now to know that it's just my habit and it's my process" she told The Hollywood Reporter. "Mulholland Drive completely terrified me. Working with David Lynch. And then one of the greatest fears was going into 21 Grams with Sean Penn and Benicio del Toro. I was just freaking out."

Chin up Naomi, surely playing the people's Princess won't be half as petrifying?
