Neeson Turns Grey For A-Team Director
03 September 2010
Irish actor Liam Neeson is in advanced negotiations to re-team with his A-Team helmer, Joe Carnahan, for the survival drama The Grey, according to TheWrap.com.
I vaguely recall Bradley Cooper being attached, or in talks at one point, but it now looks likely Neeson will headline the $34 million flick. Story centres a bunch of pipeline workers who attempt to survive in the Alaskan wilderness when their plane crashes. Trouble is, some hungry wolves don't take too kindly to their swanning around their turf, and set about eating them. Neeson will play the team leader, who goes all Taken on the wolves asses (probably).
So it looks like Carnahan (probably) won't be directing a Fantastic Four reboot or an A-Team sequel next. I'm personally delighted to him tackle something more intimate and serious sounding.
