NEW TRAILERS: Michael Shannon is 'The Iceman', Matthew McConaughey is 'Mud'.
Take a sneak peek at two brand new movies that are winging their way to you in 2013. Trailers for Ariel Vromen's The Iceman and Jeff Nichols' Mud landed this week.
First up, The Iceman. Soon to be seen on our screens as Kryptonian Supervillain Zod, Michael Shannon looks totally terrifying as Richard Kuklinski, the notorious contract killer and family man upon whom the film is based. With a cast of co-stars featuring Winona Ryder, Ray Liotta and David Schwimmer to name but a few, we're pretty sure this film's going to be deadly in more ways than one!
The Iceman opens in the US in May before hitting our shores around June 7th 2013.
Michael Shannon's also starring in Mud, albeit in a smaller role. Matthew McConaughey takes the lead in this film about two teenage boys who encounter a fugitive and form a pact to help him evade the bounty hunters on his trail and reunite him with his true love. Reese Witherspoon is on hand to play the lucky lady in question.
Mud has no official Irish release date as of yet but we'll be sure to let you know when it's due to hit our cinema screens. You can catch the trailer right here.
