You know how it is - you're on a plane, you're bored, you can't sleep, so you find yourself either watching a film - or in Moonlight director Barry Jenkins' case - watching a film over someone's shoulder and tweeting about it.

The film in question was Notting Hill and Jenkins' observations on the film were pretty hilarious, especially as he was only seeing the images and none of the audio or dialogue. On top of that, as he admitted himself, he also had a few drinks on him and hadn't watched the film before.

As a director, Jenkins clocked some of the creative choices by its cinematographer, Roger Michell...

Other times, it was about the fact that Hugh Grant seems to be permanently clean-shaven...

There's also the fact that he's watching a film over someone's shoulder...

And the fact that nobody who runs a bookshop these days could afford a flat in Notting Hill.

You can read the whole thread, but if we're taking suggestions of directors live-tweeting stuff, we'd like to see Werner Herzog do RuPaul's Drag Race.
