It's Marvel's turn in the spotlight at San Diego Comic-Con and the news is hurling out of Hall H thick and fast.

As well as revealing the first concept art for Brie Larson's take on Captain Marvel, it was also revealed that the film will be set in the '90s - which seems sort of odd, but there you go. As we already reported on, the Thor: Ragnarok trailer was debuted for the first time, but there's still no sign of the Avengers: Infinity War making its way online yet.

Meanwhile, the big casting news was Michelle Pfeiffer boarding Ant-Man & The Wasp, where the former Catwoman will be playing Janet Van Dyne AKA The Wasp. The character was mentioned in 2015's Ant-Man, but hadn't then been officially cast. In the film, Janet Van Dyne was Hank Pym's wife and fellow superhero who disappeared during a mission - all of which prompted him to retire Ant-Man. It was rumoured for some time that Catherine Zeta Jones, who just happens to be Michael Douglas' wife, would play his on-screen wife.

Pfeiffer famously played Catwoman in 1992's Batman Returns alongside Michael Keaton, who himself joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man: Homecoming, playing the supervillain Vulture.

Pfeiffer wasn't the only casting announced for Ant-Man & The Wasp. Laurence Fishburne is also set to star as Bill Foster, better known as Giant-Man. Like Hank Pym / Ant-Man and Janet Van Dyne / The Wasp, the character has been around since the '60s and is only now making his way on screen.

As well as this, Peyton Reed - who directed the first Ant-Man - was confirmed to return for the sequel, with Paul Rudd and Evageline Lilly also set to return.
