Considering they haven't worked together since 1992's Batman Returns, one would be forgiven for thinking that Micheal Keaton and Tim Burton weren't too pushed about finding a new project to make.

In reality, the pair have been looking for something to do together for years, including a potential sequel to Beetlejuice. Whether or not that will ever happen remains to be seen but for now it looks like the pair will re-unite for Burton's live action remake of Dumbo

According to Variety, Keaton is in negotiations to play the villain of the film. As we reported last week, Colin Farrell is set to play the lead while Danny DeVito and Eva Green have also reportedly signed on to star.

The premise of the remake sees Farrell play a father to children who fall in love with the wonderful elephant. Keaton, if he signs on, will play the owner of a circus that attempts to exploit poor Dumbo and his mother.

If Keaton does sign on, it will mark the second time he'll play a villain in a tentpole blockbuster from Disney. The first of course comes along in July when he plays The Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
