Michael Fassbender Picks Up Another Award

Michael Fassbender won yet another award last night, the Best Actor prize at last night's Evening Standard British Film Awards.
The Killarney native won for his fantastic work in both Shame and Jane Eyre. In the week before the BAFTAs, Fassbender won but wasn't on hand to accept his award; Instead Shame co-writer, Abi Morgan accepted on his behalf and read a message from him where he said he was "truly honoured and delighted" to pick up the gong. The Guard picked up a well deserved award, as Mark Strong collected The Peter Sellers Comedy Award for the film; while Irish cinematographer Robbie Ryan was also a winner on the night for his work lensing Wuthering Heights.
