If ever there was a premise that was bound to raise a few eyebrows, this is definitely one.

Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn, who worked together on the Oscar-nominated war epic Hacksaw Ridge, are now set to reteam for a film about two police officers caught on camera using strong-arm tactics and are then suspended, pending investigation and a full-blown media circus.

Surprisingly, the film isn't called Blue Lives Matter 2: Electric Boogaloo, but rather Dragged Across Concrete - which we're guessing is something to do with the case that gets them suspended.

While all this might sound like a recipe for disaster, there is a faint glimmer of hope - S. Craig Zahler, who wrote and directed the excellent Western horror Bone Tomahawk, is set to direct and script this film. Zahler just recently completed work on his next film, Brawl In Cell Block 99, with Vince Vaughn so it's likely that he's developed a good relationship that made him want to work with him again.

It'll be interesting to see how the film eventually pans out, as early reaction to the news wasn't exactly met with open and joyous arms. No release date has been set as of yet.
